The Position
Our Organization is recruiting for two (2) Permanent Full-time Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (Ultrasound) for the Department of Medical Imaging.

The Positions available are as follows:

The Person:

To be considered, candidates must have the following qualifications:

Successful completion of a CMA Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Program: Candidates who are not graduates of a CMA Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program must successfully complete all CARDUP external applicant requirements for registration including the CARDUP exams and Clinical Skills Assessment.

Hold active registration with CSDMS and certification with CARDUP (including: Core and Generalist) and/or ARDMS (including: Sonography Principles and Instrumentation, Obs/Gyne and Abdomen)

Demonstrated high quality clinical scanning skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills in conjunction with exceptional patient care skills, ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, demonstrated effective decision making, problem solving and organizational skills, history of good work and attendance record required. Current experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a hospital setting is an asset but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

We Offer
Salary range of $38.66 to $41.42 per hour.
Signing bonus and relocation assistance package
Benefits are per the current SEIU/SAHO Collective Agreement and include pension, disability income, group life and extended dental and health care plans.
