The Manitoba Metis Federation (MMF) is the self-government representative that promotes the political, social, cultural, and economic interests and rights of the Metis Nation’s Manitoba Metis Community. In addition, the MMF delivers programs and services to our community including: child and family services; justice; housing; youth; education; human resources; economic development and natural resources.
The MMF Finance & Human Resources Department seeks to fill one full-time Administrative Assistant position located at the Winnipeg Home Office; remuneration is $12.45 - $16.98 per hour (depending on experience) - plus benefits.
Reporting to and under the direction of the Finance Director, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing secretarial services and administrative support to the Finance Department through the following activities: personnel administration; recruitment processes; maintaining personnel data; hard copy and electronic files. He / she will be responsible for data entry; drafting letters and memoranda; distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence; receive incoming calls and determine urgency; schedule appointments and travel arrangements.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Knowledge of MMF programs, services an asset
