Registered Nurse II Thompson General Hospital Float Pool Full-time term (1.0 EFT) July/11 to July/12

The BRHA Registered Nurse II  Hospital Wide Float will be assigned to work in nursing departments in the Thompson General Hospital based on facility needs.

 

    

Position Requirements:

·         Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.

·         Current BCLS.

·         Demonstrated leadership skills.

·         Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development.

·         Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a health care team member and independently.

·         Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·         Self directed, adaptable and innovative.

·         Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position.

·         Demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer service.

·         Must possess a dependable, consistent and reliable work record including attendance at work.

·         Ability to incorporate BRHA core competencies into working practice (Customer/Client Focused, Initiative & Pro-activity, Diversity Awareness, Teamwork and Collaboration, Development of Self and Others, and Adaptability).

·         Unit specific technical competencies as per appendixes
