Registered Nurse II Emergency Department 10am to 10pm Rotation

·         Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba;

·         Current BCLS;

·         Demonstrated leadership skills;

·         Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development;

·         Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a health care team member and independently;

·         Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;

·         Self directed, adaptable and innovative;

·         Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position;

·         Demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer service;

·         Must be able to communicate effectively in English;

·         Minimum two years Acute Care experience an asset;

·         Preference will be given to applicants who meet the above position requirements and who have also successfully completed ACLS training and a critical care course;

·         Ability to attain unit specific nursing technical competencies as per job description;

·         Ability to incorporate BRHA core competencies into working practice (Customer/Client Focused, Initiative & Pro-activity, Diversity Awareness, Teamwork and Collaboration, Development of Self and Others, and Adaptability);

·         Must possess a dependable, consistent and reliable work record including attendance at work.
