We’re looking for two Strategic Accounts Managers located in Winnipeg, MB or Calgary, AB who will help fulfill our vision to be the best at connecting people to their world, and our mission to provide the best customer experience through our superior networks, exceptional service, advanced solutions and applications.


Accountability

In this position, you will establish leadership and credibility via a thorough understanding of industry needs and opportunities, establishment of key influential relationships, and successful execution of demand generation strategies. Influence and align to corporate strategy to ensure SaskTel is well positioned to meet customers’ ICT service needs. Collaborate with Sales Account teams and proactively engage key industry leaders/accounts to identify, propose, negotiate and contract new Managed and Emerging services. Develop customer relationships in highly competitive environments to evolve and maintain long term, stable, and profitable business relationships. Collaborate with partners on joint sales opportunities and communicate as required with channel partners for positive customer experience.

The position is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba or Calgary, Alberta.

The Successful Candidates Will Possess:

·         Degree or certificate in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with extensive relevant sales/consulting experience in ICT services.

·         Thorough knowledge of ICT services including:

o    Networks

o    Data Centre & Managed IT Services

o    Unified Communication & Collaboration

o    End User Computing & Application Managed Services

o    Security Services

·         Demonstrated ability to interpret and effectively communicate technological concepts to customer c-suite, technical leaders and industry stakeholders.

·         Outstanding consultative selling, analytical skills and business acumen with demonstrated knowledge of business fundamentals including finance, marketing, business, planning and communication.

·         Extensive knowledge of competitive communication industry trends, ICT issues and technologies.

·         Experience leading strategic projects involving cross-functional groups (project management skills or previous experience in customer projects is an asset).

·         Strong customer service orientation.

·         Excellent ability to plan and organize in a self-directed environment.

·         Excellent decision-making ability.

·         Valid driver’s license.

As a new position to SaskTel, this is an exciting opportunity for somebody who enjoys a challenge and will establish their own presence in the Manitoba and/or Alberta market.  The minimum base pay for this role is $78,641 with potential to exceed a base of $100,000 annually, plus a competitive variable incentive plan and benefits package.
