The Production Mixer is a full time position that requires an individual with attention to detail and consistent performance. The successful candidate will assist the Production Manager with the daily operation of the Mixing Department, as well as helping to ensure the quality and efficiency of the Production Line is maintained.





·         Assist the Production Manager at the dough mix station

·         Follow all OKFD procedures for quality control and production efficiency

·         Thorough understanding and following of OKFD Food Safety Program

·         Thorough understanding and following of OKFD Plant Safety Program

·         Record ingredient lot codes and follow FIFO lot code rotation

·         Keep production area clean and organized

·         Accurately scale and systematically add ingredients to the mixing bowl

·         Monitor dough through the mixing cycle

·         Plan dough mixing time to keep up to production line requirements

·         Complete in-house training of line worker duties

·         Other duties as required










Education, Training and Experience:

·         High School diploma

·         Previous production experience is an asset





·         Able to work on a rotating shift basis in a fast-paced environment

·         Able to multi-task and stay focused under pressure

·         Able to be a team player and effectively communicate with others

·         Ability to lift bags and containers up to 25kg multiple times throughout the shift

·         Basic computer, reading, writing, and mathematical skills
