We are looking for a talented and experienced Set-Up Shop Supervisor for our BRAND-NEW, STATE-OF-THE-ART location in Portage la Prairie, MB. Take a drive west on Hwy 1 and envision your future in our new home.

As a Set-Up Shop Supervisor, we are counting on you to manage new equipment set-up operations for all designated branches and to maximize return on investment by optimizing department processes, organizing and scheduling work flow, and ensuring consistently high quality output.

In this new position, you will be responsible to:
- Develop and maintain effective Set-Up Shop Department processes to ensure internal customer satisfaction;
- Monitor efficiency and continuously improve processes;
- Develop and execute Set-Up Shop schedule in conjunction with the Service and Branch Manager to determine work planning rules and work priorities and to manage exceptions;
- Maintain regular communication with branches and sales regarding progress of their product;
- Perform release checks of all equipment to ensure quality and consistency;
- Take the lead in sharing best practices and implementing common processes throughout the Service Department;
- Submit all service warranty and Product Improvement program claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit;
- Co-ordinate with the Service Manager on staffing decisions to ensure the Set-Up Shop can be leveraged as a pipeline to develop new technicians;
- Train and develop potential apprentice technicians

Required Skills:

We are looking for someone with:
- At least 3 years experience in Service Department operations;
- At least 1 - 2 years managerial or foreman experience;
- Post secondary courses in management and business;
- Moderate to advanced skills in excel and familiarity with MS Office products;
- An ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and within a group;
- Exceptional customer service and customer relationship management skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Service Department operations;
- Technician Certification or demonstrated mechanical aptitude to perform release checks on all equipment
