Class 1 Truck Driver / Sales Service Representative

Class 1 Driver needed!

Our Route Service Representatives have the unique opportunity to present our image and service to our customers through their courteous, on-time, accurate deliveries

This is not your typical driving job

  • Driving of the Truck/tractor to locations =30%
  • Physically handling of the product = 60%
  • Customer Service = 5%
  • Administration/paper work = 5%

Essential Duties:

  • Operate and drive straight trucks or trailers to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban and rural routes
  • Conduct routine truck inspections to ensure safety requirements are met by performing pre/post trip inspections
  • Ensure all products are delivered on time from the Warehouse to the customer as required
  • Sort and load all products from the truck
  • Wheeling 600-800 cases without the use of power equipment and working until all cases have been delivered
  • Maintain records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets, truck information and customer invoices
  • Follow all our company  policies and procedures including all health & safety regulations
  • Provide exceptional service to customers and build/maintain quality customer relationships.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Current and valid Class 1 license (driver’s abstract obtained within the last three months will be required)
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)


  • Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
  • One year safe driving record required

Essential Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Should be self-motivated, punctual, energetic and be able to work with a diverse customer group and with  minimum supervision.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job with the ability to lift, push, pull and carry items up to  100 lbs in all kinds of weather
  • Demonstrate the ability to utilize a two-wheeler with a load weighing up to 350 pounds
  • Able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (required)
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
  • Positive attitude with good communication skills.
  • Excellent focus and attention to detail and have effective problem solving skills
  • Must pass a Physical Abilities test and a Background check

Working Conditions:

  • Steel-toed boots are required.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
  • Exposure to and handling of all types of food products including seafood, meats, dairy, produce, spices, beverages and equipment.


  • Start between 3:00 am to 7:00 am - varies per route
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends
