Payroll Administrator

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person for the newly created position of Payroll Administrator. This is position will support payroll administration for more than 2,000 employees in Canada and the U.S.

The Role:

As part of the Human Resources Department, this individual is responsible for preparation, balancing and finalizing payroll for multiple jurisdictions, salaried and hourly employees, union and non-union employees. The incumbent is also responsible for payment of benefits, reconciliation of external and internal payroll accounts, year-end processing and balancing of T4/RL1 Summaries, filing of annual T4 and RL1 returns and provincial Worker's Compensation.

You and Your Experience:

· A minimum of 5 years experience working in a computerized union and non-unionized payroll environment.

· Completion of CPA’s Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certificate and experience in account reconciliations.

· You have the ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines,

· You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and consider yourself a strong team player. Previous experience working with ADP Pay@Work and Kronos Workforce Central and fluency in French (written and oral) are considered assets.
