MANITOBA METIS FEDERATION INC. The Manitoba Metis Federation (MMF) is the self-government representative that promotes the political, social, cultural, and economic interests and rights of the Metis Nation’s Manitoba Metis Community. In addition, the MMF delivers programs and services to our community including: child and family services; justice; housing; youth; education; human resources; and natural resources. The MMF IT Department seeks to fill one vacant full time position at the Winnipeg Home Office, remuneration is negotiable.
Reporting to the IT Program Manager, the Network Technician will act at first level support, responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting all current and future MMF technology. Train and inform MMF staff in the use of this technology to ensure efficient use of this equipment in this organization.
·Training and experience in computer hardware, software, and networking preferred · Experience installing and troubleshooting MS Windows, MS Office, printers ·Network cabling experience preferred but not required · Experience with audio/video equipment ·Knowledge of A+ is an asset ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills ·Demonstrate flexibility, good judgment and dedication
