HR Payroll and Benefits Administrator

You are an experienced payroll professional with more than just payroll experience and you’re looking to put those skills to work for a company that offers you tons of variety in this kind of role. As the payroll and benefits administrator for approximately 120 employees, you will also administer the WCB program, get involved in the hiring of new employees, administer the rewards and recognition program and participate in social committee planning.

What you will do:
* Administer commissioned, hourly and salary bi-weekly payroll for approximately 120 employees and manually process vacation pay; process all remittances
* Enroll, terminate and process changes to employee plans
* Process all WCB Claims, file injury reports, follow-up on outstanding claims
* Administer Return to Work / Light Duties programs
* Responsible for safe work practices and notices; member of health and safety committee
* Create and post job advertisements, screen resumes, interview, reference checks, offer of employment; liaise with recruitment agencies as necessary
* Update policies and procedures handbook as required

Must haves:
* At least 5 years of payroll experience
* Extensive knowledge of ACCPAC
* Ability to process year end reconciliations, T4s, Record of Employment
* Prior WCB experience and benefit plan exposure
* Knowledge of Employment Standards Code
