The Manitoba Customer Contact Association (MCCA) is a not-for-profit organization that assists in the development of the contact centre industry in Manitoba. The MCCA is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of:
Aboriginal Liaison OfficerThe Aboriginal Liaison Officer (ALO) will act as liaison between MCCA, industry, Government representatives and the Aboriginal community to facilitate and promote the attraction, recruitment, training and retention of Aboriginal employees within the contact centre industry. The ALO position will also act as coordinator of industry training programs with an Aboriginal focus.
Applicants must have an established network that includes organizations such as Aboriginal community leaders, agencies and post secondary institutes. Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of the diversity of the Aboriginal community and have experience with human resource development. Knowledge of member based organizations and /or the contact centre industry is preferred.Project management skills will be utilized and include: establishing project time lines, meeting management, proposal and report writing, group presentations, and project accountability. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is essential with the ability to create and manipulate tables, reports, presentations and spreadsheets.
