Inventory/Logistics Analyst

Job details:

Our client, a healthy living and environmentally focused company, is a new face to the North American market.  Offering unique and healthy products to the consumer, the demand for their products is growing.  To keep the flow of products moving into the hands of the consumer they are now in need of an Inventory/Logistics Analyst 

The Role:
Maintain and manage inventory of products for specific corporate accounts;
Be responsible for accurate data entry into a variety of internal and external inventory systems, following established guidelines;
Take customer orders and enter them into a tracking system;
Manage the tracking of client orders from the moment it’s placed until it is received by the client;
Identify missing information and work to resolve discrepancies in data.
Compile data necessary for weekly internal reporting;
Determine inventory needs based on customer forecasts and ensure stock is at appropriate levels at all times;
Create shipping orders and coordinate with shipping partners to ensure sufficient inventory to customers are on time;
Provide information for corporate clients;
Manage Purchase Orders and payments; and
Ensure all appropriate inventory forms are filled out correctly.

You and Your Experience:
You have completed post-secondary education, ideally with a supply chain focus;
You have a minimum of 2 years experience with data entry;
You are able to work in a complex and fast changing environment, having had a minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing, distribution or supply chain focused industry;
You have an analytical mind are detail oriented;
You can manage multiple, competing priorities and can take direction and guidance from multiple sources;
Your communication skills are clear and concise in both verbal and written format, and you can communicate effectively with all people;
You are a natural when it comes to relationship building; you enjoy working with people; and
You have a team oriented mentality and can make quick, effective decisions.
