Full-Time (1.0 EFT)Term until March 31, 2009 Department: BCHRC Salary: $33.765 to $42.30 per hour
Qualifications and Technical Competencies: § Registered Nurse with current active CRNM registration. § Baccalaureate Nursing degree. § Knowledge of the prevention and management of diabetes is required. § Demonstrates competent clinical knowledge, skills and judgment in serving the needs of clients, families and communities, through the application of a population health approach. § Demonstrates knowledge of and sensitivity to various regional communities and cultures, with fluency in an Aboriginal or other relevant language considered an asset. § Demonstrates excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills, including the principles and practice of adult learning. § Documented examples of ability to work independently, applying initiative in a variety of situations and settings with limited and indirect supervision. § Requires experience in general computer operations with software programs such as word processing, e-mail, and the internet. § Possession of a valid Manitoba driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle to meet required travel demands throughout the RHA, and occasionally to Winnipeg or elsewhere. § Must possess a dependable, consistent, and reliable work record including attendance at work.
