Air Canada is in the need for NDT Technicians.
You will be engaged in routine non-destructive testing of aircraft structures, systems, components, parts and materials.
You could work for components, aircraft or engine departments.
An Aircraft NDT Technician can expect to work outside and in hangers. Adverse conditions may include weather extremes, noise, odors and areas of extreme caution. Aircraft NDT Technicians can also expect shift work. You must not be afraid of heights or confined spaces as you may work inside and on top of aircraft wings and fuselages.
Requirements:
You must possess one or more Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) approved Level II in the following:
Eddy Current (ET)
Liquid Penetrant (PT)
Magnetic Particle (MT),
Radiography (RT),
Ultrasonics (UT).
Priority will be given to the candidates possessing ET, UT, RT certificates
Applicants with a Transport Canada (AME) designation and proven aircraft experience an asset.
