Are you a proven leader with hospitality experience? If you thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, this opportunity is for you. This position is ideal for a customer and detail-oriented professional, capable of inspiring effective collaboration and communication within a team. The Banquet Manager is responsible for supervising the banquet department to required standards and within budgetary limits. The Banquet Manager will ensure that banquet rooms are set up according to customer specifications, wait staff are fully prepared and banquet guests are well taken care of.

What you will do:
* Supervise day-to-day activities of the banquet department, including scheduling and training
* Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and employees to finalize event specifications, including room setups, menus and attendance numbers
* Ensure all details for meetings, convention s and events are executed according to customer specifications
* Brief staff before each event; ensure staff is dressed appropriately at all times
* Circulate during the course of the event and address any issues or concerns
* Analyse banquet event orders and monitor budgets
* Submit accurate cost information to accounting department for client billings
* Monitor equipment and inventory regularly to ensure minimum losses

Must haves:
* 2 years of management experience
* Experience in all aspects of customer service
* Demonstrated leadership and training abilities
* Strong working knowledge of the hospitality industry
* Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Knowledge of cost analysis and budgeting techniques
* Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
