Department: Maternity Labor & Delivery Salary: $29.421 to $34.685 per hour Shift: 12 Hour Day /Night Rotation
Qualifications and Technical Competencies: Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba. Current BCLS. Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Course or willing to take at earliest convenience Fetal monitoring course or willing to take. Completion of WHO Breastfeeding course or willing to take. Minimum 2 years obstetrical experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills. Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a health care team member and independently. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Self directed, adaptable and innovative. Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position. Demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer service. Must possess a dependable, consistent and reliable work record including attendance at work. Ability to incorporate BRHA core competencies into working practice (Customer/Client Focused, Initiative & Pro-activity, Diversity Awareness, Teamwork and Collaboration, Development of Self and Others, and Adaptability).
