Airline Services - Claim Coordinator


Job details:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to work with our client specializing in mobility services.  This position requires someone with an aptitude to handle a variety of responsibilities and will appeal to those with problem solving skills.

The duties of the position will involve direct communication with airline passengers, airline personnel, technicians, suppliers and manufacturers.  Other duties include written communication, document preparation, file management and data entry.

Proficiency with data base and computer data entry in a fast paced office environment is required.  Must be detail oriented and have a strong customer service ethic.

Wages vary depending on experience and skill level of the candidate. We are located in a suburban area with limited bus access.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

Obtain salient details on each claim; accuracy and attention to detail are important

    Liaise with customers, airline personnel, providers and manufacturers throughout claim process

    Conduct research for appropriate supplier and technical resources

    Prepare purchase orders, work orders and invoices; speed and accuracy is important

    Maintain hard copy files and archives

    Maintain status reports on each claim

    Implement timely follow-up to ensure claim completion

    Data entry for centralized reporting,report preparation and conduct analysis

Requirements

High School diploma or post secondary education

 Excellent communication skills; verbal and written; ability to communicate at all levels

Ability to manage own work load and set priorities

Understanding of purchasing and costing methods; accounting experience is an asset 

Must be able to conduct research, identify options and present recommendations to management

Should possess some understanding of the mobility market (customers, equipment and environment)

Ability to assist with system integration

Work well with others in an environment requiring teamwork, quick problem resolution and shifting priorities

Must be available during weekday office hours with some flexibility for evening and weekend work
