Arts/Culture Needs And Inventory Project Coordinator (Post Secondary Summer Student Position)

The Winnipeg River Arts Council is seeking an Arts/Culture Needs and Inventory Project Coordinator to work in Eastern Manitoba. Job duties include:

  • Promote the new Arts Council
  • Collect, document and analyze programs, events, services, facilities, artists, and arts organizations (Inventory)
  • Gather and document ideas and opinions for arts and culture development expressed by artists and arts/culture organizations (Needs Assessment)

The Project Coordinator reports to the Board. Qualifications and requirements are:

  • Knowledge and interest in arts and culture
  • Sound oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in research and analysis
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and willingness to travel
  • Enrollment in Recreation Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or another related field is desired
