Chartered Accountant

Position description: Full time / Permanent

Locations: Flin Flon, MB and Thompson, MB

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for company audits
• Supervising staff and accountants
• Organizing and scheduling field work
• Meeting with clients for Review or Compilation engagement and preparing financial statements
• The successful candidate needs to be experienced using Caseware and Caseview Accounting software
• as well as being experienced and reasonably skilled at dealing with clients

Qualification

1 – 3 years of experience in public accountancy practice ( working with clients that are members of the public, not just working at a private company)

Chartered Accountant Designation from a recognized Canadian Institution. 

 Knowledge in Caseware and Caseview are mandatory. Experience in Tax-Prep, Simply Accounting and QuickBooks and other software will be considered as an asset

 A candidate with some supervisory experience and skill that would definitely be an asset.

 Working overtime as needed
