SHIFT-STAFFED HOMES
FULL TIME RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT WORKERS
Shift-Staffed Homes, one of the many programs offered by New Directions, requires full time Residential Treatment Workers for adult male and female, 24 hour shift-staffed homes. Applicants must be available to work day, evening and night shifts as well as weekends and holidays.
Duties include working as part of a team providing care and supervising individuals in the homes and in the community, administering medication, providing transportation, and performing household chores. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training will be provided.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities with behavioral challenges, as well as First Aid and C.P.R. certification. A current Driver’s Abstract must be provided. A.S.L. and a Disability and Community Support Certificate would be considered assets.
The successful candidate will be subject to Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks.
