Job details:
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Component Manufacturing within the Company: - Design and Drafting of wood floor and roof trusses as well as wall sections.- Communication with customers to develop specifications and plans. - Working with production to ensure accuracy of build.- Supervising and giving direction to Component Machine Staff. Specific skills of the successful candidate will include: - Practical experience as a Component / Truss designer.- Certified Architectural Technologist - Expertise in the use of Auto CAD 2007, Microsoft Office suite. - Familiarity with residential & commercial building codes.- Experience in Carpentry and Project Management an asset. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work well within a team setting. - A sense of urgency with a passion for detail.
