Regional Tuberculosis (TB) Prevention Coordinator Nurse IV - Full-time (1.0 EFT)


Job details:

Qualifications and Technical Competencies:·          Baccalaureate Nursing Degree.·          Current College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Registration.·          Minimum of two years related work experience is preferred.·          Have demonstrated leadership and have the ability to champion a cause or a program;·          Have current, comprehensive knowledge of and/or skills in: diabetes; population health promotion; disease prevention; program planning and evaluation; health assessment and preventative clinical services; children and adult education principles; and health policy;·          Have expertise in developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with a broad range of individuals and partner organizations;·          Demonstrated ability to work alone and as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team;·          Demonstrated ability to foster an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment that supports quality, patient care/quality improvement;·          Understanding of change theory and the ability to facilitate change;·          Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills;·          Knowledge and respect of Aboriginal Culture and experience in working respectfully and effectively with First Nations people;·          Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Publisher, and various databases;·          Have a valid driver’s license and vehicle;·          Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position;·          Evidence of professional development and continuing education.·          Demonstrated ability to effectively partner excellent engagement skills and collaborate to address goals.·          Must possess a dependable, consistent and reliable work record including attendance at work.·          Ability to incorporate BRHA core competencies into working practice (Customer/Client Focused, Initiative & Pro-activity, Diversity Awareness, Teamwork and Collaboration, Development of Self and Others, and Adaptability). A combination of training and experience may be considered at a commensurate classification and salary. Current salary and benefits according to the MNU collective agreement.
