Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba; Current BCLS; Demonstrated leadership skills; Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development; Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a health care team member and independently; Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; Self directed, adaptable and innovative; Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position; Demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer service; Must be able to communicate effectively in English; Preference will be given to applicants who meet the above position requirements and who have also successfully completed ACLS training and a critical care course; Ability to attain unit specific nursing technical competencies as per job description; Ability to incorporate BRHA core competencies into working practice (Customer/Client Focused, Initiative & Pro-activity, Diversity Awareness, Teamwork and Collaboration, Development of Self and Others, and Adaptability); Must possess a dependable, consistent and reliable work record including attendance at work.
