Responsibilities:
· Accounting duties to include both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions;
§ Calling receivables and posting payments,
§ Matching and posting invoices,
§ Completing bank deposits,
· Provide receptionist duties, answering the telephone and greeting visitors;
· Calculate freight and broker expenses on goods and receive in system;
· Maintain NAFTA records and provide information to customs broker;
· Maintain accurate database records to ensure client and supplier information is up to date;
· Other administrative and general clerical duties as assigned;
Experience:
· 1-2 years of experience in an accounting and administrative role;
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products;
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced work environment;
· Knowledge of NAFTA would be an asset;
· Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail;
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
· Self directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
