Job Description

Build, configure, and maintain Linux servers, including:
- Install OS on servers
- Install Apache, PHP and MySQL Database and other applications on servers
- Configure and maintain data backups
- Troubleshoot server problems
- Perform system hardening and security
- Work with web developers to create and implement system architectures
- Follow established password management procedures
- Create written documentation of server configurations and planned changes (design documentation)
- Interact and provide service to service to end users, customer technical staff, and internal technical staff
- Respond to emergency and time-sensitive requests both during and after business hours
- Upon request, be on call 24x7
- Research and recommend equipment purchases

Skills/Experience

- 3+ years related work experience experience
- System Administrator experience (2+ years)
- Unix shell scripting skills (2+ years)
- Must possess Linux Systems Administration skills
- Must know Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP
