A sales associate is the key role in our Organization. The Salesperson represents the first impression that most of our customers will encounter and therefore the position must be taken seriously by each of our staff members. The salesperson has three primary objectives; the first is to sell, the second is to maintain the store and the third is to upgrade skills to ensure improved sales productivity and reporting accuracy.
Responsibilities will include:
· Greet customers and discuss the type of merchandise sought for purchase
· Advise customers on care & use of merchandise
· Recommend accessories and promote Henry's value added programs including Henry's School of Imaging workshops, HELP Warranty program, HOTC Warranty program, Henrys Advantage Card and Half-Back program.
· Quote pricing, trade in allowances, method of payment
· Achieving & surpassing set sales & gross profit targets
· Prepare sales transactions using a web based POS system
· Inventory counting, control & reporting
· Continuous skills improvement through training programs provided and through personal self-improvement
· To maintain a clean work place
Skills Required:
· Excellent communication skills
· Exceptional customer service skills and problem solving abilities
· Ability to function as part of a team in a fast paced work environment
· Prior photographic, video and digital experience
