Security Officer

Under indirect supervision, provides personal, equipment, and real property security for faculty, staff, students, and visitors within an assigned area of the Asper Jewish Community Campus. Provides escort services, and other basic public assistance services as needed, and performs routine security and public safety patrol duties within assigned area. Remains alert to emergency situations and provides first-line response, emergency management, and/or referral if required.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED with 1 to 3 years of directly related experience which may include directly related certification or practicum training. Must have a previous or current Province of Manitoba Security License and supply an up-to-date WPS Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.

Daytime position (08:30am - 4:30pm) Monday-Friday, $10.50/hr
