Job details:

Palliser Furniture is seeking an energetic and organized self-starter for a casual office position offering support to the business as needed.  The duties will be quite varied, depending on the department you are assisting, which requires you to possess the ability to learn quickly and apply strong systems skills (Excel, Access and other Microsoft Office programs).


skills and abilities required…


  • Extremely strong in MS Word, MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint

  • Must be able to perform v-lookups, mail merges, and write basic Excel formulas

  • Professional and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent problem solving abilities

  • Positive attitude with the desire to provide excellent customer service

  • Able to multi-task effectively

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is critical

  • Must have drivers license and own vehicle

  • Must have previous office experience

  • Data entry

  • Filing

  • Taking meeting minutes

  • Scheduling meetings and/or appointments

  • Planning and assisting with events

  • Other duties as assigned
