Customer Service Manager

In order to continue to be the best cabinet company in North America we are constantly challenging status quo and making exciting changes to continue to be the best. This position will be responsible for our Order Processing Team which is currently undergoing significant change. We are currently in the process of preparing for an ERP implementation at the end of 2016 and redesigning process to support this extremely complex semi-custom product order entry. The customer service manager will take an active role in creating, teaching, training and measuring results through this system integration. The Customer Service Manager will report directly to the Director of Customer Service and play a key role on the customer service leadership team. 

The job is located in Winnipeg.
 
Major Responsibilities

Provide strong and effective departmental supervision for assigned direct reports.

Build relationships and positively interact and communicate with customers, both internal and external

Liaison between plant and customer regarding ordering issues

Hire, train, direct and develop Order Processing associates to work as a cohesive team and provide for personal and professional development.

Supervise internal order processing functions

Oversee the coordination of plant, vendor, and subcontractor & customer schedules to complete jobs on time.

Support Customer Service to provide timely & professional responses for all ongoing & completed jobs

Ensure all internal metrics/timelines are being met consistently for the order processing and customer service scheduling teams

Provide operational leadership and troubleshooting support to regions as required

Seek out opportunities for continuous improvement

Communicate departmental and company goals to direct reports

Provide back-up support to other members of the team

Ensure compliance with safety rules, regulations and procedures


Minimum Employment Requirements

Post-secondary Education

5 years proven success in a fast paced customer service or order processing position

5 years’ experience in a leadership role

Experience in a similar industry (manufacturing, automotive)

Software knowledge:  Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook),

Mathematical knowledge: Experience in basic accounting procedures, exceptional math skills, Ability to analyze numerical data and identify trends

Organizational Structure

The Customer Service Manager reports directly to the Customer Service Director.

The Customer Service Manager will have 12-15 direct reports

This position reports through the Marketing function.
