Territory Sales Manager

We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager--this position can be based in Winnipeg, MB, Regina, SK or Saskatoon, SK

Responsibilities: Outside Sales – Territory Sales Manager. You must have a proven track record of success with ideally 3-5 years of solid sales experience. As a Territory Sales Manager you will be responsible for growing and maintaining business in the home improvement retail environment in the Manitoba/Saskatchewan Market.
You are responsible for developing and building relationships with new and existing customers to generate sales revenue. You possess the ability to achieve sales targets through effectively developing strategy within your region and growing their business. Your effectiveness in the market is driven by your ability to research and develop an in-depth understanding of your region, plan strategically, and effectively explain the value of our brands to your client.

Experience and/or knowledge of cabinetry ts is a great asset.

 
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create  tactical and detailed sales action plans

Effectively manage sales cycle within Territory

Participate in strategic planning process, identifying evaluating and qualifying potential opportunities and creating strategic partnerships necessary for implementation.

Monitor and track performance of products, programs and relationships, while measuring financial impact.

Provide and train customers on detailed product, layout, and pricing information.

Provide necessary paperwork, forecasting and reports in an accurate, timely manner.

Manage field service issues.

Additional duties and responsibilities as requested by the Senior Management team.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.

Ideally 3-5 years of outside sales leadership experience

A proven successful sales track record. (Cabinetry experience preferred)

Must be able to research and develop an in-depth understanding of your region.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong follow-up skills and solid relationship management skills.

Must possess a disciplined approach to prioritizing multiple accounts, knowing how to best allocate time and resources.

Strong financial acumen.

Self-starter - ability to succeed in a virtual environment.

Excellent technical skills including a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point & Internet Explorer. 20/20 Design Software knowledge is also an asset.
