Solution (Sales) Representative - ICS Group Inc.

As a leader of climate control in Canada, ICS Group Inc. is looking for a high performer to promote heating solutions in the Manitoba region. The position has a target start date of July 13th, 2015.

 ICS Group listens, designs, then delivers tailored portable climate control solutions for oil & gas, construction, mining, industrial, restoration, and event industries. We enable our customers to, safely, bring their projects in on-time and under-budget.

 Job Summary:

To accommodate our expanding business, ICS Group Energy Solutions is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Solution (Sales) Representative in the Manitoba region. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you are a key member of our technical sales team and will represent the industry's leading authority in climate control solutions.

 Your primary goal is to build and maintain relationships with key accounts and projects using the proven ICS Group educational solution developmental process. As a team, we win business by using a unique approach that combines high value solutions and expertise to help our customers reduce their overall project costs and increase productivity.


Responsibilities – the successful candidate will undertake the following:

  • Identify, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with key clients

  • Uncover new opportunities from targeted project lists within the Manitoba territory

  • Participate in client, community, and professional events to promote ICS Group

  • Work closely with the branch, corporate and regional sales teams to meet targets

  • Stay current with industry trends to better identify new markets / opportunities

 Requirements – the successful candidate will exhibit the following qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; able to foster first-rate client relationships

  • Confident investigator who can uncover new business opportunities

  • Strong computer and communication skills are essential

  • Self-motivated, quick study, flexible, and works well independently

  • Valid Manitoba license is mandatory, travel is required

  • Ability to work and focus on a project in a fast paced environment with an upbeat attitude

  • Attention to detail on clients’ sites and in regards to paperwork

  • Dynamic team player who is able to maintain excellent internal clients relationships

  • Resourceful, adaptable, honest, high level of integrity and commitment, self-motivated

  • Organized, self-disciplined, reliable and capable of evaluating workload and obtaining cooperation of other departments

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, self-assured

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently

  • Capable of working under pressure, sense of urgency


Client Services:

  • Interface with customers in relation to issues on projects and communicate any needs to Solutions and Operations

  • Assist Solutions, Solutions Support, Accounts Receivable and Operations with supporting documentation and constant communication

  • Assist with project solution preparations and proposals
