Industrial Painter

Job details:

Can you work well independently? Are you an experienced painter who has worked in a manufacturing environment? If so, we have an opening for an Industrial Painter with one of North America’s leading manufacturers in industrial equipment. We’re looking for someone who pays high attention to detail and can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that all parts are painted to the highest quality possible. 

What You Will Do: 
* Read and interpret blueprints, selecting and mixing appropriate paint 
* Operate hand-held spray guns to spray paint or coat large items with protective coating 
* Inspect surfaces for contamination; mark, record and report defects 
* Cleaning and maintaining paint and spray guns, ventilation, wash booth and protective equipment 
* Other assigned work as required 

Must Haves: 
* Completion of high school diploma, GED or equivalent 
* Previous working experience as a painter in a manufacturing environment 
* Ability to distinguish colours 
* Must be available for rotation shifts (days, evenings, nights) 

Additional Info: 
* $14.11 - $24.75 hourly depending on experience
