We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Assistant Service Manager for our BRAND NEW, STATE-OF-THE-ART location in Portage la Prairie. Take a drive west on Hwy 1 and envision your future in our new home.

As an Assistant Service Manager, we are counting on you to assist the Service Manager with service operations within the dealership to optimize department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible to:
* Monitor the department's marketing plan monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals;
* Advise customers of repairs and the estimated cost of their repairs and resolve any customer concerns;
* Use effective communication to share best practices and implement common processes throughout the department;
* Submit all service warranty and product improvement program claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit;
* Maintain reporting on current Internal Depth Chart, Recruiting and Hiring Plans and individual development plans;
* Maintain good working order of all department tools, equipment and vehicles;
* Coordinate the flow of work between sales and service working directly with the Shop Foreman

Required Skills:

We are looking for someone with:
* At least 1 - 2 years related managerial experience;
* A business degree/diploma or a combination of education and experience;
* Familiarity with agricultural products and accessories;
* Proven business capabilities related to managing revenue and expenses, sales and marketing, and analyzing and interpreting financial reports and information;
* Moderate to advanced skills in excel and a familiarity with other MS Office products;
* An ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and within a group;
* Exceptional customer service and customer relationship management skills;
* Strong organizational and time management skills
