Is it really free to post a job?

Yes, it is free. As in free beer (you can send us one, we'll appreciate it!).

If it is free, how will you guys make money?

We will soon offer premium accounts to employers who want some more juice (like stats, job history, who applied, etc.). The premium account has more features that are not found in this offering. That way, we can buy more servers. :)

Of all the place in the world, why Winnipeg?

Because we live here and we love the place!

Where is Winnipeg? Haven't heard of that place.

It's a small island in the Arctic Ocean, a place with lots of polar bears and seals. :P Just kidding. Seriously, it's in Manitoba, Canada. ;)

But I don't have an email. How can I post a job?

You can signup for a free email account at Gmail.com or Yahoo.com.

I haven't received the confirmation email. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing. Most of the times, free email providers block emails which are not on your contact list to prevent SPAM. It is sad to say that in the attempt to block spammers, free email providers unintentionally block "good" emails. You can add "WJB-JobPost@winnipegjobbank.com" and "WJB-JobConfirm@winnipegjobbank.com" to your contacts and/or whitelist so you may continue to get emails from us.

Great! I posted the job, but I made a mistake. Can I edit it?

Unfortunately no. Sorry. What you can do is delete the post (use the link we provided on the confirmation email), then re-post the job (this time with the correct one).
